Bass Fishing Chautauqua Lake

The fishing will be heating up soon at Chautauqua Lake, New York as the water starts to warm up. The bass are in the shallow water and you can catch some nice bass if you cast out towards the many piers along the lake. Simply keep your boat just outside of the shore and cast towards the piers of which the wood piers hold the big bass. You can use a fly and jig or a spinner to catch some huge lunkers in the Spring at Chautauqua Lake.

We have fished up at Chautauqua Lake for years. A winning combination is to use a large gray feathered fly tipped with a meal worm. A Mepps #1 spinner has also been a great lure to catch just about anything at the lake including bass, bluegill, walleye, perch and crappie. We'll be there next week just before bass season opens.

Fishing Inland Lakes In Michigan

This article will show you that you don't need to spend a lot of money in gas travelling to some far away destination when some of the best fishing spots could be almost as close as your own back yard. If you're tired of battling jet skis and motor boaters, then perhaps a small pond, stream, or even old gravel quarry could be just the place you've been wishing for. These smaller and less popular waters often are home to some of the larger fish you'll ever have the pleasure of catching. If you pick the right time of day, you're also guaranteed to be fishing solo, with only the sound of bullfrogs croaking and crickets chirping to break the silence.

Fishing in the smaller lakes around your home will give you a feeling of relaxation because there is not a lot of people around. It is only you and nature and fishing. A nice combination that all fisherman look forward to.
